Your path to a free, healthy voice

Anyone can learn to sing, and my job as a vocal coach is to guide you on your journey.

I teach using Complete Vocal Technique, or CVT for short. The technique is called "complete" because it gives you concrete instructions on how to produce all notes and effects in a healthy way.

Whether pop, rock, classical, jazz or heavy metal – every singing style that brings you joy is welcome in these sessions.

My approach: Clarity through technique

I teach vocal technique because it creates clarity. It explains how the voice works and how to produce tones effortlessly, based on clear anatomical and acoustic principles.

The voice is like an acoustic fingerprint – very personal and unmistakable.

As a CVT teacher, I provide you with tools for vocal training, as well as stage presence and performance, to help you achieve your individual goals.

We work on connecting your artistic expression with healthy technique.

What is Complete Vocal Technique (CVT)?

CVT is an innovative singing technique created by Danish practitioner Cathrine Sadolin and is continuously developed at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen based on the latest scientific findings.

The idea behind the method is that anyone can learn to sing if they know how the voice works and how to utilize its anatomical mechanics.

The 3 core principles of CVT

Support

Breath support forms the basis for a stable and controlled vocal sound. Through a balanced interplay of inhalation and exhalation muscles, the airflow is regulated so the voice can sound powerful, enduring, and effortless, without pressure in the throat.

Avoiding tension

Free, tension-free use of the jaw, tongue, and lips is crucial for healthy singing. Unnecessary tension can restrict sound and strain the voice. Therefore, singers learn to move their jaw, tongue, and lips independently to sing with greater ease.

Twang

Twang provides a clear, resonant sound that carries even without great effort. It involves slightly “focusing” the sound, which not only provides more presence but also helps use the voice efficiently and resiliently.

What my students say about working with me

Monika says:

"You ask me where I want to go, address my issues, and introduce me to various options (exercises) that help me make progress with my problems. You’re always positive, encouraging, supportive, and appreciative. You explain vocal technique in a way that’s easy to understand, demonstrate how it’s done, and practice with me until I feel: Yes, now this feels just right for ME."

Francesca says:

“What I find most helpful in your lessons is the practical application of theory, using examples you provide and plenty of my own experiments. You’ve enabled me to sing songs I like right away, and you’ve taught me how to approach a song in a focused way by trying to sing it immediately while paying attention to the sensations of my voice in my body. And you do all of this with kindness, yet great professionalism.”

Lisa sagt:

“You place a lot of importance on technical details and have a good sense of what else you can bring out in your students. You don’t settle for the first result you get, but once a student breaks through a barrier, you’re the first to celebrate with them.”
